Welcome to EDS Companions

If your family lives away, you don’t see your friends as often as you once did or a partner has passed away, you can sometimes feel isolated with little incentive to get out and about.

With our companionship service you can enjoy the company of one of our fully trained, friendly and DBS-checked members of the team, who are on hand to help with a wide range of activities, including dog walking and sitting, shopping, medical appointments, getting to church, walking in the park or just for a chat over a cup of tea.

Our companionship service is available Mondays to Fridays, 9am until 4pm, with support also available on Sundays for those who would like to get to church, and you can book as little as one hour per week (minimum contract is for one calendar month).

This service is offered on the basis of an on-going appointment, charged at £30 per hour, with mileage costs charged additionally where the customer requires transport.
